Cabrinian Philosophy of Education

The Cabrinian philosophy of education is at the heart of our Justice Matters curriculum.   In 1967 Professor Rose Basile Green published a study of St. Frances Cabrini’s philosophy of education.   The work is an examination of American educational objectives grounded in a unifying principle set forth by St. Frances Cabrini.  The preface outlines the purpose of the work and places it in context.

One of the College’s first professors hired by our foundress, Sr. Ursula Infante, M.S.C., Rose Basile Green, Ph.D. served the College from 1957–1970.
