The Feast of St. Frances Cabrini at the NYC Shrine

On Saturday November 10, eight members of the Cabrini College Community traveled from campus to New York City to celebrate the Feast of Mother Cabrini.  The trip was organized by Sr. Christine Marie Baltas, MSC.  The group included several staff members, a faculty member, an alumnae, and a volunteer and friend of the college.  The group attended the 10am Mass at the Shrine of St. Frances Cabrini.  The Mass was con-celebrated by our Chaplain, Fr. Carl Janicki.  Music was provided by members of the Mother Cabrini High School choir and bell choir.   After the Mass, the group traveled to Dobbs Ferry, NY and enjoyed a Feast day feast at Sam’s Italian Restaurant.  Following the meal, the group spent several hours visiting the Senior Sisters at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry.
