The Early Years of Our Curriculum

The Cabrini College Bulletin 1957-1958 provides general information about our fledgling institution and outlines the following objective:   “Cabrini College, as a Catholic College of Liberal Arts, has for its general purpose the development of women who have been trained spiritually and intellectually to understand the data of experience, not only in the natural order, but also in the supernatural order, so to model their lives on that of the Divine Exemplar, Jesus Christ.”  The bulletin contains the prescribed courses for the freshman through senior years of study.   Students took 22 credit hours in subjects ranging from Theology to Physical Education.  The curriculum and major fields of study are outlined in the bulletin 1957-1958.
