At the outset, the College conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science (B. S.) in Education.  The B.S. degree required a total of 130 credits.  Students completed 72 credits in the prescribed courses which ranged from Theology to Art and Music Appreciation, 6 credits of Electives, and 52 credits in Education.   The 1959-1960 Cabrini College Catalogue provides descriptions of some of the first Education courses offered at the college.
