The Core Curriculum in the Early Years: The B.A. Degree

In our first years, Cabrini conferred the degrees of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.  The major field of study for a B.A. degree was English, History, or Languages.  The four year program for the B.A. degree was strictly prescribed Freshman year through Senior Year.  Freshman were not able to take electives and Physical Education was required in the Freshman and Sophomore years.  The 1959-60 College Catalogue outlines the Bachelor of Arts degree
