Gratitude

Mother Cabrini on gratitude:

When we ask, we are moved by our own interests; but when we thank, we are moved by more noble and more perfect sentiments.

Be grateful for God’s mercies, for gratitude is the noble sentiment of humble souls.”

From Words of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini compiled by Sr. Fede Nemia, M.S.C. ©1967
