Stella Maris Province Represented at World Youth Day, 2011

 World Youth Day (WYD) is a week long international event that celebrates the Catholic faith.  Open to young people from all faiths, WYD occurrs every three years and attracts hundreds of thousands of youths from every continent.  WYD 2011 was held in Madrid, Spain from August 16-21.   The Stella Maris Province was represented by eight young women from various Cabrinian institutions.    Cabrini College was represented by Junior, Cathy Matta and Senior, Breanna Tumelty.

Breanna and Cathy were joined by young people from Cabrinian institutions across the world including the Philippines and Russia.   

Our Stella Maris contingent joined with young adults from throughout the worldwide Cabrinian Institute - 35 in all. Here they unite at Colegio Santa Francisca Cabrini, Madrid.
